a confirmation number at that time. This eliminates any confusion of how many
systems you have running.

How do I
cancel my service?
Field
Data service involves the license and use of software. In order to cancel the
Field Data service the software must be "un-registered". This is a process that
issues a cancellation number for your records. Unless all computers on the
account are unregistered we assume the software is still being used.
Please call our office while
at your computer so we can unregister your programs. Your service will remain
active until you do so. 805-522-9629.
We cannot cancel your service
by email.
In the
event a computer cannot be unregistered we can stop future billing on the
account, however no credit will be issued for services already billed.

I am not
getting notified of updates or I am getting an error when I try to run an
Internet Update.
1. If you have a firewall please make sure it is
configured to allow Field Data Internet Update access to the Internet.
Also see Configuring Your Firewall
2. Field Data Update check must
be running. To check, go to the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl, Alt, and
Delete at the same time. Go to the Applications tab. You should see Field
Data Update Check running. If it is running and you are connected to the
Internet the problem is likely a firewall.
If Update check is not running,
verify that it is located in your Startup folder (under the Programs menu).
If it is there, restart your computer and you should receive an update
notification next time you connect to the Internet. If Update Check is not
located in your Startup folder click here.

will take that file to another computer (either through a CD/Diskette or
through a network) and use the wizard to import the file. This feature
requires Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
Instructions:
-
Open Field Data
Rating and go to the Options screen.

Make note of the
name and location of the Export file you are creating. You will need

Move the Export
file to the other computer.
-
Repeat steps 1-2
on the computer you are importing to.

When I try to enter the program I get the
message, "The program has expired".
This message can mean 1 of 2 things:
-
The program is not updated with current rates
-
Your computer's date is incorrect
First, check the date on your computer. If it is correct
you need to load the latest update from Field Data. It is likely that you are
missing more than one update. Make sure you run Internet Update to ensure rating
accuracy.
